This size hammock is called in Yucatan Mexico a double hammock, but this hammock is to small for two European’s. This hammock is very suitable for 1 person up to 160 cm. On the Peninsula of Yucatan the Mayans developed a weaving technique that is similar to those of the Indians from deep within the Amazon jungle. These hammocks look like colourful fishing nets, with the major difference that they do not contain a single not in the netting. This makes the Mexican hammocks very flexible.
